Professor Chet Schemahorn
Chet is a 4th Degree Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt with over 27 years of experience training with the Gracie Family. He was among the first group of Americans promoted to black belt at the Gracie Academy - and the first to achieve this rank as a student who did not train full time at the Gracie Academy Headquarters in Torrance, California. Chet has since promoted 14 students of his own to the rank of black belt. Adam is a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu 1 Stripe Brown Belt with over 15 years of martial arts experience in Karate and Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. After a short period of training in both Karate and Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, Adam dedicated himself to the grappling art. With an eye for and understanding of the deep details of the techniques, Adam has excelled in helping his students understand the need for leverage and mechanical advantage of pure strength. Josh is a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu 1 Stripe Purple Belt with over twenty years of martial arts experience.
