Doug Mantock, Gracie Jiu-Jitsu 2 Stripe Purple Belt

                Doug is a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Purple Belt with nearly a decade of training in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.  Doug’s journey with Gracie Jiu-Jitsu began in February of 2015, where he immediately fell in love with the grappling focused martial art. In less than four years, Doug graduated from the Gracie University Instructor Certification Program (ICP), and began teaching Gracie Combatives and Master Cycle classes while also being an in-demand instructor for private lessons for both kids and adults. Doug was promoted to Purple Belt by Chet Schemahorn in 2021. Known for his penchant for foot locks and triangles, Doug has a fantastic eye for detail and can be counted on to identify where a technique is being hung up or an entrance a student didn’t think of before.

When not teaching Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Doug loves to play guitar, play racing simulation games, and spend time with his family. Doug’s students love his patient teaching style and willingness to help wherever he can.
